Michelle Gillies brings two decades of Fortune 500 Corporate Public Affairs experience, most recently with Abbott Labs, a $31 billion global health care leader and Fortune’s “Most Admired” company with 113,000 employees in 160 countries.
At Abbott, Gillies orchestrated public affairs and executive communications functions across the company’s $7.7B diagnostics and $7.4B nutrition divisions. She was also responsible for the successful execution of more than 30 large corporate events, including senior leadership forums and global meetings. In addition, Gillies spent 12 years as a civilian employee with the United States Air Force working alongside the “Hurricane Hunters.” Gillies singlehandedly formed a Single Mothers group on a military installation full of men. She altered the way single moms were perceived on a military base by bringing women of all colors together to show unparalleled strength, unity, and diversity.
A “rock-star problem solver with a passion for getting the job done right the first time,” Michelle Gillies holds an M.B.A from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and a BA in Business Management from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She currently resides in Saraland, Alabama, a suburb community of Mobile.
